Home and guide covers are artistic impressions prepared for this directory.
The Ashton Memorial imagery was informed by G Laird’s Ashton Memorial photograph. The Lancaster Castle imagery was informed by G Laird’s castle photograph. Both reference photographs and all seven editorial artistic adaptations, including the sharing derivative, are available under CC BY-SA 2.0. Changes include painted rendering, composition, lighting, colour and representative foreground scenes. The source photographs are not displayed on this public website.
The family outing, community session, shopping street, workshop and winter gathering are representative settings, rather than exact named premises, identifiable people or event layouts. Category tiles retain photographic styling. Business images and logos are separately sourced from their own websites.
The Lancaster Directory sharing card uses this directory's existing local illustration, with added directory branding and a resized crop. Original illustration credits and applicable source licence terms on this page continue to apply.
